Here you will find your way into ethical penetration testing, if you want to. I have taught several hacking courses and have found that training centers do not care if the students have the base to understand the material covered in such classes. This leaves the students frustrated and many times having not learned anything, and drop the idea of venturing into this field.
As an instructor the scenario I described is just as frustrating for me and unacceptable. I have decided to provide real training in penetration testing but for the beginner. Do you feel comfortable getting around in the Linux CLI, how about Windows? Do you understand how TCP works? There are several questions like this that I can ask and most new students to penetration testing don’t feel like rock stars in these areas.
